I love how much fun we have as a family with the simple things.
Yesterday was the 4
th of July and we had a great time watching the local
Bothell parade. After that we came home, took naps, and woke up to spend the evening with friends talking and of course eating BBQ. We didn't go anywhere fancy or do anything
extravagant but we had a great time. The picture is of Isaac doing sparklers that we had gotten last year and didn't use. So we sat outside in our yard with friends and watched as everyone else lit fireworks off around us (and there were some big ones). What a joy the simple things in life can be.
