Deception Pass

Here are a few pics from our visit at Deception Pass. It was a beautiful crisp afternoon. Isaac had fun throwing many rocks into the water. We even got to watch an amazing sunset. What a beautiful place we live in!

A couple of Isaac's buddies

These are a couple of Isaac's friends from church, playgroup, and swimming. Koen is probably Isaac's best buddy because they see each other several times a week. Koen and Isaac are reading books together on Isaac's bed. The other picture is of Issac and Gavin, just hamming it up for the camera.

Valentine's Dinner Date

The weekend after Valentine's, Craig along with the other men in our small group bible study planned a group date for their wives. I must say we were all quite impressed with the work and organization they did to put it together and keep the plans a secret. All of the guys together made a delicious dinner with appetizers and everything. We had fresh salmon, asparagus, salad, potatoes, and home made bread. After this we all went out to desert. There was a lot of laughter and overall a great night out.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Isaac had fun making heart shaped Cookies for Valentine's Day! He was a part of the whole process (including eating them) and he loved it. In the end he had flour all over himself, sprinkles everywhere, and red lips from eating sprinkled cookies.

Isaac's New Bed!

Here is a picture of Isaac's new big boy bed. He has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor since he learned to climb out of his crib a couple of months ago. The act of climbing out wasn't so bad, it was the fact that we couldn't get him to stay in his crib. We weren't sure he was ready for a bed but we had no choice since he wouldn't stay in the crib. Well, it turns out that the bed is a great thing. He loves everything about it and shows it off to anyone who comes to the house. Craig built him this log bed out of a tree that fell down in our back yard a few months ago. I love having a resourceful husband!
